SEN ECO
Special Educational Needs Ecosystem

"The world needs all kinds of minds." — Temple Grandin
Every mind learns differently — and every different mind deserves a path built for how it actually works, not one it's forced to fit into. SEN ECO exists to serve everyone around a child or adult with special educational needs: the individual, whose strengths and needs are honored rather than corrected; the parents and caregivers, who deserve real guidance and a community that doesn't leave them to navigate alone; and the educators and professionals who shape a child's daily experience and need rigorous, current training to do it well.
At the institutional level, SEN ECO works directly with schools, government agencies, and other organizations to build, develop, or strengthen their own SEN/D units — turning good intentions into structured, sustainable support systems.
"We believe every mind deserves a path built for how it learns — not one it must be forced to fit."

Understanding My Child: Autism & Neurodevelopmental Differences
Understanding and accepting your child as a whole person.

Understanding My Child's Behaviour & Emotional World
A two-day workshop for parents who want to look beyond the behaviour and understand the child behind it.
A mother's understanding. A specialist's expertise.
For Dr. Thayalani Narayanasamy Gomez (Dr. Thaya), supporting neurodivergent children is both a professional calling and a deeply personal journey.
As a mother raising a child with autism and ADHD, she understands firsthand the challenges, hopes, and aspirations of families navigating their child's developmental journey.
With over 20 years of professional experience and a PhD in Psychology (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) from the University of Liverpool, UK, Dr. Thaya brings together specialist knowledge and lived experience to champion a more compassionate, strengths-based approach to child development and inclusion.
Because every child deserves to be understood, not simply assessed.

Reflections from Families, Educators & School Leaders
“She tries to understand the inside of her child, the different way of thinking.”
“In Mrs. Thayalini's attitude, I have concluded so much respect for 'the person within.' She tries to understand the inside of her child, the different way of thinking… As a mother of a child with autism, she does not want help for her son only, but for all other parents in Malaysia who have the same daily struggle to survive.”
“Particularly known for going the extra mile to support students.”
“Ms. Thayalani demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, effective teaching, and student development… She is particularly known for going the extra mile to support students both academically and non-academically, ensuring that students feel supported in their academic journey.”
“Her dedication and knowledge in Autism is commendable.”
“Thayalani's main special character is that she has passion and patience… Her tactics in handling children came naturally to her, and her dedication and knowledge in Autism is commendable. The National Cancer Society of Malaysia is honoured to have had her work for us.”
“You explain everything so clearly, making even the more difficult topics easy to understand.”
“I really appreciate your online professional development class because you explain everything so clearly, making even the more difficult topics easy to understand. The examples you use show how concepts can be applied in real-life situations… Your teaching style has helped me gain more confidence in my abilities.”
